What is in the formula

The US Drug Facts lists zinc oxide 19.5% as the sunscreen active. The inspected inactive list includes squalane, glycerin and ceramides, with no iron oxides listed. It should not be assumed to offer the same visible-light coverage as a tinted iron-oxide product.

Evidence and its limits

The DailyMed label and manufacturer directions both advise using a water-resistant sunscreen for swimming or sweating. The manufacturer FAQ separately claims 40-minute water resistance. This unresolved inconsistency is disclosed rather than choosing the more favorable claim.

Fit in the current routine

The current finder offers it as an untinted comparison, not an automatic replacement for tint. Check the current package and individual suitability. The manufacturer notes that some complexions may see a white cast; we have not personally tested the finish.
