DSULABs was created to make complex skincare, supplement and wellness claims easier to evaluate. We explain what is supported by evidence, what is promising but early and what is mostly marketing—so readers can make informed decisions without the hype.

Meet the founder

DSULABs was founded by Dr. Sultan U., PharmD, PhD. His training spans therapeutics and medication safety as well as medicinal chemistry, molecular mechanism and drug discovery.

For more than six years, his research has focused primarily on developing small-molecule therapeutics for neurodegenerative diseases. His work has contributed to two related patents.

This dual background shapes the DSULABs approach: understand the mechanism, examine the quality of the evidence, consider formulation and dose, look for interactions and safety limitations, and communicate uncertainty honestly.

Our evidence standard

We prioritize systematic reviews, clinical trials, authoritative health guidance and relevant mechanistic research. The strength of a claim should match the strength of the evidence. When a conclusion is uncertain or a product-specific claim has not been independently established, we say so.
