CeraVe Hydrating Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30 Face Sheer Tint
A daily tinted SPF 30 option to assess for shade and comfort, with a separate water-resistance decision.
What is in the formula
The inspected Medium US variant lists titanium dioxide 5.5%, zinc oxide 10% and iron oxides, with ceramides and niacinamide. Its inactive list also includes salicylic acid and capryloyl salicylic acid. Other shades require their own label and shade check.
Evidence and its limits
AAD guidance supports tinted sunscreen containing iron oxides in dark-spot care. That guidance does not measure the visible-light protection or pigmentation results of this exact CeraVe formula. SPF is not a score for visible-light protection.
Fit in the current routine
The finder presents sunscreen options for comparison; it does not determine a shade match. This Medium variant may not match every complexion, and the nine questions cannot establish allergy history or the suitability of a particular tint.
What this review cannot establish
CeraVe directs use of a water-resistant sunscreen for swimming or sweating. We therefore do not label this product a water-resistant option. No universal shade match, invisible finish or personal wear-test claim is made.
Directions and precautions
The brand directs application before sun exposure and reapplication at least every two hours, with a water-resistant alternative for swimming or sweating. Follow the complete current Drug Facts and its ingredient-sensitivity warnings; combine sunscreen with other sun-protection measures.
Always check the current package. A review cannot assess your individual reaction or replace care from a qualified clinician.
