CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser
A foaming cleansing option in the oily and combination foundations; it is not the dark-spot treatment step.
What is in the formula
The standard US Foaming Facial Cleanser lists ceramides, niacinamide and hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid alongside its cleansing system. The manufacturer positions it for normal to oily skin. The Balancing Air Foam and Acne Control cleansers are separate formulas.
Evidence and its limits
The ingredient list establishes what this cleanser contains. It does not establish that a rinse-off niacinamide product will reproduce the pigmentation results of a leave-on treatment. No dark-spot improvement percentage is claimed here.
Fit in the current routine
The existing finder can use this cleanser for relevant oily or combination answers. Sensitivity is assessed separately; oiliness alone is not a reason to ignore discomfort. Retain a suitable cleanser already in your routine.
What this review cannot establish
A foaming texture is not a direct measure of how drying a finished product will feel. We have not personally assessed this cleanser, and do not guarantee barrier tolerance or acne control.
Directions and precautions
CeraVe directs wetting the skin, massaging gently, rinsing and patting dry. Follow your current label and adjust routine choices with appropriate advice if cleansing causes persistent discomfort.
Always check the current package. A review cannot assess your individual reaction or replace care from a qualified clinician.
